HELP SUPPORT BACH WEEK FESTIVAL

Fully 80 percent of Bach Week Festival’s budget goes directly toward staging the concerts that comprise the Festival. Ticket sales, however, do not cover the vast expenses that a concert series of Bach Week Festival’s caliber incurs. Without the past financial help of Baroque music lovers, the Midwest's ''rite of spring'' that showcases the music of J.S. Bach and his contemporaries would not have been able to survive for one-third of a century.

Whether you have contributed in the past or are pondering a donation for the first time, consider what your donation can accomplish:

$1,000 will fund the entire program notes.

$500 covers the rental of one harpsichord.

$300 puts one instrumentalist on the stage for one performance.

$125 provides a day's tuning for one harpsichord.

$75 pays for transporting the timpani to Nichols Hall at the Music Institute of Chicago.

$50 rents a space for one chorus rehearsal.

We understand that your charitable dollars are much in demand these days, and we thank you for being as generous as you can to help Bach Week Festival thrive.
